Home rehabilitation is ideal for people of any age who have had a recently been discharged from hospital. That includes admission to intensive care, surgery or prolonged stay on any hospital ward where they have suffered loss of mobility and strength.
Physical therapy is essential to fully recover and to address the underlying secondary complications from illness that can cause pain. Without physical therapy treatment, the pain can persist longer than needed, it can stop you from doing activities that you love and also increase the risk of re-admission.
I had no clue that a physiotherapist could treat my hand pain, I was told my only option was surgery. Now with only two sessions my pain has gone, I can't believe it.
